Technical Specification Sheet · DXD-GOLD-1050
Activated Carbon for Gold Recovery
High-hardness coconut shell GAC for CIP, CIL and CIC circuits, reviewed for mesh retention, abrasion, ash and mine-specific gold adsorption testing.
1. Executive Engineering Summary & Grade Capabilities
- Pre-attritioned and water-polished mature coconut shell GAC in 6x12 (3.35–1.70 mm), 6x16 (3.35–1.18 mm), and 8x16 (2.36–1.18 mm) mesh to eliminate platelet particles and prevent gold loss through interstage screens.
- Engineered for maximum attrition resistance (>=98% ASTM D3802 ball-pan hardness) coupled with rapid gold cyanide [Au(CN)2-] adsorption kinetics (R-value) and high equilibrium loading capacity (K-value).
- Supplied in heavy-duty 500 kg / 1,000 kg FIBC bulk bags or 25 kg woven bags with 2–5 kg metallurgical lab samples available for mine-site bottle-roll and elution qualification.
2. Physical & Commercial Profile
| Raw Material Base | Selected high-hardness coconut shell |
|---|---|
| Physical Form | Uniform granular or water-polished activated carbon |
| Standard Sizing / Mesh | Common sourcing directions: 6x12, 6x16 or 8x16 mesh; final range must match the CIP/CIL equipment |
| Configurable Options | 6x12, 6x16 or 8x16 sizing, iodine value, hardness, abrasion, ash, pre-treatment, water polishing and mine-specified gold adsorption testing. |
| Standard Export Packing | 25 kg PP woven / kraft bags, or 500 kg / 1,000 kg FIBC bulk bags (palletized & shrink-wrapped) |
| Standard MOQ & Lead Time | 1 Metric Ton standard MOQ · 15–25 days typical factory dispatch |
3. Configurable Manufacturing Ranges
| Iodine value | Common target: >=1,000 mg/g; premium directions may reach 1,000-1,200 mg/g |
|---|---|
| Hardness | Common target: >=97%, together with abrasion and fines control |
| Ash | Common target: <=5% |
| Moisture | Typically <=5% |
| pH | Typically 8-11 |
| Apparent density | Typical reference range: 480-550 g/L |
| Gold-specific testing | Adsorption rate, loading capacity, K/R values or a mine-specified CIL bottle-roll test |
Note: Iodine value alone does not qualify a gold-recovery carbon. Circuit-specific adsorption kinetics, capacity, hardness, abrasion and particle retention should be evaluated together.
4. Sample Batch Certificate of Analysis (COA) — Reference Benchmark
The table below illustrates a representative factory QC test report from our Shizuishan, Ningxia laboratory. Every commercial shipment includes a batch-specific COA tested against your signed purchase contract.
